Peace of Mind is a painting inspired my momma which I created from a photo I took of her during a hike we went on in June.
There is no place that turns my mom into pure sunshine like the middle of the mountains, the joy the permeates through her in this place is untouchable. It is so inspiring. I think nature is one of the most powerful gifts to us as humans, and it’s typically free.
I hope you feel the joy of simply being today and that that is enough. Being around the laughter, the mess, the food, the dogs. And if you’re alone, I hope you find a way to turn loneliness into gratitude. Take a deep breath, have gratitude for the fact your lungs can do so - start there and expand. I feel so damn lucky to get to be here with you all.
