About Alyssa Marie 

If you've come to this page, it's because you met me swooning over the pelicans who frequent Vinoy Park, found me on social media or were shown one of my paintings from a friend, colleague or family member. I cannot thank you enough for stumbling across my little colorful corner of this world. 

My name is Alyssa! I am from Littleton, Colorado originally and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in Feb 2017 which is where I currently take residence amongst the waves and endless greenery.

From the get-go, I have had a love for art that I have a difficult time finding words to explain. Growing up, my parents beautiful kitchen table was covered in scratches and dents from art projects, residue from hot glue and of course, every color of paint I could get my hands on (Sorry Mom and Dad!)

As I grew, my love for art cultivated as I went on to pursue my BFA in Communication Design with an emphasis on Fine Art at Metropolitan University of Denver, Colorado. 

Not too long after graduation, I decided I was due for an adventure and couldn’t silence the call of the ocean any longer, so off to Florida I went with no plan but to follow my heart and ART!

I quickly found that color was my passion and as I continue to paint, I explore new meshes of style and technique to constantly push my paintings further with every stroke.

You will find my energy in each of my pieces, from the sunflower crown on a great white shark to the color-by-number community murals I orchestrate around the country. I pour my heart and emotion in to each and very stroke of the brush.
