When Julian and Biff walked into the gallery, their reactions were priceless. They told us that they could immediately feel the energy of the space. They said it was bright and uplifting and it was somewhere they wanted to spend their time. And they did. The next few hours were filled with laughter and stories, connection and conversation. Julian was the captain of a sailboat that he and Biff had just sailed from the UK all the way down to St. Pete. Alyssa was fascinated hearing about the big seas and steady wind that brought them across the ocean, all to end up in her gallery talking to her about her work. Alyssa asked Julian if he would send her a picture of his boat.

Julian walked in to the art show later that month with his boat hanging on one of the walls. Although a sailboat isn’t the best place to hang fine art, he did take home a print of his beloved sheets, sails and hull gliding across the waters on his way to St. Pete.
